Skype appears to be having trouble staying online and connecting humans worldwide. We've received numerous reports from readers who have been unable to access Microsoft's communication platform. This problem occurs either because DNS records related to Skype for Business haven’t been added to your computer or couldn’t be found by the application, or because the Lync server that Skype for Business is trying to access in order to sign you in is not responding.

We have the On Premises 15 server running and I have Skype for Business working properly on my Windows 7 machine. If I try to load Skype for Business on my Mac and log in on the network with my domain email (which works for my Win 7 machine) I get the message: 'We couldn't sign you in. Please check your sign-in info and try again. If the problem persists, contact your support team.' It then shows me a password window. Photo editing program for mac free download. If I put my domain password in and try to sign in I get the same message. If I go into Advanced Options and put in my Domain User Name of DOMAIN USERNAME with Auto-Detect Server I get the same message.

If I put in the IP address of the internal server and our external address (though our federation/EDGE server is not yet working) I get the message 'We can't sign you in. Check your network connection and try signing in again.' So we don't have external access to SFB set up yet, but we have it working internally for all the Windows users.
